Every service is different and, while with some you only need to write your name, collection and delivery address, and MPD booking reference on your parcel, others require you to print a label.
The main reason for this is that while some couriers will add a barcode to your parcel upon collection others aren’t able to do this and a barcode is required when your parcel wings its way across country. The barcode is scanned as it enters and leaves each location so that it can be moved in the right direction, and you can keep up to date with the progress via live tracking.
We have no control over whether a printer is needed for a service, but we make sure you are kept in the know by showing this on the results page when you go to choose your service. If you don’t have a printer, or if yours is out of order or out of ink, please be sure to book a printer-less delivery service.
