If there’s no one available when the courier arrives to deliver your parcel, one of several things could happen.
The courier will:
- Leave a card stating they tried to deliver the parcel but no-one was available
- Add a tracking note advising they attempted to deliver but no one was available.
- Leave your parcel with a neighbour, possibly leaving a card to advise of this.
- Leave your parcel in a safe place (so long as the service does not require a signature), possibly leaving a card to advise of this.
If you weren’t available when the courier knocked at your door, first of all check the tracking as the courier may have added a note. Next, contact us and we will help you re-arrange for a more suitable day. Please remember that to have your re-delivery arranged requires 24 hours’ notice and may result in additional charges being applied so try to select a convenient delivery day when booking your delivery.
